Academic Year 2016-2017

Term I

  • 11th April 2016 – 30th April 2016: 3 hrs per day
  • 1st June 2016 – October 2016: 15 – 18 hrs per week
  • Portion as per schools first unit test and first semester is covered in this phase.

Term II

Diwali Vacation
  • Last 7 days of Diwali Vacation: 3 hrs per day
Post Diwali Vacation (November 2016 to March 2017)
  • Duration: 15 to 18 hr per week
  • Portion as per schools second unit test and second semester is covered in this phase.

Tests

  • MCQ test will be conducted after every module and every lecture
  • Subjective Chapter-wise tests will be conducted on a periodic basis as per the completion of the chapters
  • Unit Test & Semester exams as per the school portion will be conducted before the respective school exams

Course Material

Study material of all subjects will be given, with all possible questions and answers based on the Std. IX curriculum.

 

Note: Portion completion is subject to availability of text books in case of change in portion.

Every batch follows a set and standardised operating procedure.

Summer Vacation

  • 11th April 2016 – 30th April 2016: 3 hr per day
  • 2nd May 2016 – 4th June 2016: 6 hr per day
  • 6th June 2016 – 9th June 2016: 3 hr per day
  • 60% portion of all subjects will be covered in this phase

Regular School Days

  • 15th June 2016 – September 2016: 12 - 15 hrs a week
  • Last working day depends on the date of commencement of Term Examinations in school
  • Balance 40% of the portion will be covered in this phase

Note: Portion completion is subject to availability of text books in case of change in portion.

Science Practicals

These will be conducted in the month of February.

Course Material

This consists of printed notes of all subjects with questions and answers relevant to the Board examinations.

Tests

  • MCQ tests will be conducted after every module and every lecture
  • Subjective Chapter-wise tests will be conducted on a periodic basis as per the completion of the chapters.

Apart from the MCQ Tests and chapter-wise tests following 4 exams will be conducted

  • Mini Prelimimary Examination 1: This examination is conducted in Diwali vacation and covers 50% of the SSC portion.
  • Mini Prelimimary Examination 2: This examination is also conducted in Diwali vacation and covers the balance 50% of the SSC portion.
  • First Preliminary Examination: Examinations are held in December as per the pattern prescribed by the Board. Mock Board examinations are conducted between 26th December and 31st December.
  • Second Preliminary Examination: This is held in January exactly as per the pattern prescribed by the Board.
